i loved Sunrise R9 I wish that it had a high school. I know going for my Bachelor of Science and I think back to my elementary K through 8 experience more than I think back to my high school experience. The smaller class size and close one-on-one action with every teacher develops relationships that are Beyond anyting imaginable I graduated from eighth grade at Sunrise R9 in 2003 so it's been over 15 years but that school was amazing

A huge disappointment! I agree with the other parent. Unless you grew up in this school, you won’t fit in. I have never ever seen such blunt favoritism in my life! It’s disgusting. My child’s self esteem has sure taken big hit in just 2 short months. I wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone. They were so deceiving at the open house. We will be moving (hopefully ASAP)

My son loves this school as I do too! It feels like a private school because of the smaller class size and the teachers care about the children. We have a new principal that started last year and she has made great changes to benefit the students and keeping up with our technology world. The students will be able to (BYOD) bring your own device to be able to learn in such away our society has evolved. Highly recommend this school!

The display of favoritism and intolerance of new children is absolutely ridiculous! I have learned that if you have not attended since Kindergarten then you are an outsider and your child will be treated as such.

We have just started kindergarten this year at Sunrise, and I have been nothing but impressed and very happy with the entire experience!

the facalty knows the names of all the children, it is a small rural community and the tax base is just not there. i would not say that i love this school however the need is the only factor that i can comment on
