I have a daughter currently enrolled at St. Joseph's school Dallastown. This is a wonderful place to send your child for a great Catholic education! The principal, teachers, and staff are all so passionate about this school and giving the children the best education! My daughter absolutely loves this school! She tells me everyday! I feel very fortunate to be able to send her to St. Joseph's school dallastown!

St. Joseph's School Dallastown is an outstanding school. Small classes, caring educators, and our wonderful principal provide a solid foundation for educational excellence.

As with the other reviews, this school has been wonderful. Something not mentioned in the other reviews is the security of the school. Sadly, in this day and age, this has to be a primary concern for parents and St Joe's goes above and beyond. The school doors are locked and all visitors have to enter through the front. Picking up and dropping off is handled by the principle herself! She walks the cars in line at the end of the day, recognizes each of them, and calls on a walkie talkie to the other teachers handling pick up which kids have parents there to pick up. Then the bigger kids walk the smaller kids to the line of cars to help them and keep them safe. When my inlaws had to pick up, they come to each car and ask and look into the car and get eye contact with every person. Very smooth and efficient! Great faith based school with a balance of learning, spiritual education and community involvement.

I was very pleased with the pre-k 3 program offered at St. Joe's. I was hesitant, at first, of sending my 3 year old to school but now that the school year is complete, I am very glad I did. My child has blossomed socially and academically. My child has learned about government (The Pledge of Allegiance), religion, science, arts and crafts, listening, sharing and a plethora of other attributes. She participated in group activities as well as one-on-one time with her teachers. There was a perfect balance between playtime and learning time for a 3 or 4 year old. Her teachers were tremendous and she now has many new friends. My oldest will be attending Pre-K 4 fall of 2011 and my youngest Pre-K 3.

Everytime I am at the school, either for an event or just to get my grandchildren after school, I am always impressed with just how friendly everyone is and how devoted they are to the children. I am also pleased with how the girls are doing scholastically. Someone has instilled a great love of reading in them and that means they are not always into TV and video games. In my mind, they could not be in a better school.
