Tengo 4 hijos y todos han ido a esa escuela pero con el más pequeño a tenido muchas más opciones de aprender cosas nuevas y divertidas y la excelencia de los maestros es sensacional muchas felicidades por todos los logros.

This is our first time in this school and we are so so so so happy to be part of the winnetka's family. I dont know how the prior principal was with this school BUT BUT but as far as I KNOW thanks to the principal and the entitle winnetka personal(teachers and staff)the school are moving and our kids are happy everyday at the begening and end of the day!YES, some teachers are no longer part of the school for any reason and we as parents we dont have control and i dont think the principal dont have the power to force anyone to be part of the winnetka's family including parents to be volunteeers! Per experience this is one of the BEST school to be part of the PARENTS volunteers!YES YES yes Most of the teacher's are great because is hard to know every single one and know who is good or bad! But the school is the best! Some parents expecting that the teachers will fix problems from students that are out of there bonderies, as parent we have to be part of their EDUCATION, REMEMBER the first school is at HOME!THANKS WINNETKA for your dedicated and hard work. From our family with love!

This is my son’s second year at Winnetka and he loves it! My son has not only demonstrated academic growth but has truly flourished as an individual since being at Winnetka. When I initially began volunteering at Winnetka, I did not anticipate how significant this school would become to me. I truly enjoy helping the staff as well as, meeting other parents and assisting the students. I have experienced first hand how amazing Winnetka is for its scholars. Front office staff is always so helpful and you always get greeted with a smile! Teachers are so caring and communication is the absolute best! The Counselors are amazing! The Principal and Assistant Principals are so involved! Winnetka is home for my family and I definitely recommend it!

This school use to be great but since they have changed principal's this school has lost a lot of programs it use to have. My son's teacher has quit. The principal does not work well with parents who want to volunteer. Winnetka Elementary is not like it use to be. Most of the teacher's are great. The problem is that the great teachers are leaving. My son is so sad that his teacher has left. I will be looking for a new school for my son next year.

I can’t say enough great things about this school. My son has been attending since he was three and our youngest will start next school year. The staff here are just wonderful- extremely loving and attentive. My son just absolutely loves going to school each day. The class structure provides a sense of comfort and my son just seems to thrive in their learning environment. Needless to say, we would highly recommend this school.

Totally satisfied with the school, academically I have seen the learning growth of my children. Apart from that, hearing them say I love my school and when they arrive they run with happiness to stay, it's priceless!! I transferred my son from another school and unfortunately his first year was very ugly, he kept crying and he didn't like it. I can say that I am happy to see my children learning but at the same time happy! All the staff are very friendly and make you feel more than welcome! My family and I love Winnetka.I recommend the school 100%.Totalmente satisfecha con la escuela, academicamente he visto el crecimiento de aprendizaje de mis hijos. Mi familia y yo amamos a Winnetka.Recomiendo Winnetka 100%

This is the worst school possible. My son was being sent home on almost a daily bases. School started at 7:45am and I'd get called to pick him up at 8am. I was asked during a meeting with the teacher and principal to have him tested for ADD and ADHD. So, as a concerned parent I had him tested. Turns out he a mathematical genius and was getting bored at school. The teacher he had was horrible. She couldn't control the class. First graders are constantly practice the state required test, which is probably why the state rates them so high. Fast forward to months later, I run into a parent and one of his old classmates whom mentioned to me that they were told by the school and staff my son was expelled!!?? Which isn't the case at all. I personally removed him from the school and put him in Trinity Basin Prep. He is not old successful at this school he is now reading at a 3rd grade level and is writing, as well as his math skills being off the charts. He beats almost all the adults in our family at Rummikub a mathematical home game. I'm highly disappointed in Winnetka Elementary! I in fact went to Winnetka as a child and graduated from North Texas University. So I had high hopes he would have an amazing experience like I did. I was extremely wrong and I'm disgusted by this school. I highly recommend parents to look for other educational opportunities in the area. I also highly recommend Trinity Basin Prep the facility and staff are absolutely amazing, they are truly invested in the youth educational program.

This school does not help your child succeed, for them it’s easier to hold them back a grade than to actually help them advance. They take advantage that the majority of the parents are non English speaking parents, and don’t know their rights. The principal and her staff are non-confrontational and prefer to ignore you once they feel they can’t handle the situation.

When you walk into this school all you can see is smiles! The teachers and the students look like they genuinely love going there everyday. The principal really supports her staff and cares for her students.

They have the best Robotics program in the nation. Their robotics teams beat middle schools at State. Way to go Winnetka Wildcats!!!
