LOVED THIS SCHOOL!! Best school, super fun throws the best house parties everyone there is super chill in their own lines teachers are great you learn a lot. Theirs no problems or drama unless you look for it. Sunset is one of the best schools in Oak Cliff, Recommend this school and we have the best drill team in the whole district.

It’s a very bad school. I had social anxiety, and teachers harassed me and tried to force me to speak. As for the counselors and the rest of the staff, they’re just as bad as them. Once a nurse decided that it would be a good idea to touch my face since I refused to speak, and so she did. Overall, an unpleasant experience.If you have a child with special needs, make sure to bring it up as soon as you enroll them into school. Even then, I don’t expect much from them, so don’t expect much from them either.

I read all the posts. Yes, Sunset is in the ghetto, but its a good school. Couple of posts are from people who attended Sunset in the past and I just have to say is that if you did not try then you did not succeed. I attended Sunset and I am educated and successful. I also know a numerous amount of people that are very well educated and did something with their lives. Being a good parent is the key for a child to like succeed in life. Teachers did give importance to students when I was there. Some students just didn't care because Sunset was the COOL school to be at. You make the best of it where ever you are.. I support Sunset..
