We have had an excellent experience at Parish. Our children are learning "how to think", not "what to think". The school is very focused on the future of education and are preparing our children for the Future of Work. Parish Abroad also offers older students the chance to visit other countries and learn about other cultures.

Our experience has been very positive. Whether your student is inclined academically, artistically, socially, athletically or is more service minded, there are so many opportunities to thrive at Parish.

Parish is a highly effective community! Our experience since arriving when our son was in 5th grade, and is now in 9th grade, has exceeded all our expectations! Our son has been challenged academically, had the opportunity to participate in sports, drama, academic events, leadership, and even school-sponsored travel. He has had great successes as well and awakening failures, all in a school where he knows he'll be unconditionally supported and cared for. We feel as a family we are part of a greater community full of diversity, challenge, opportunity, and the highest integrity!

If you are looking for a remarkably liberal school, this is the school for you. Chapel is at best boring for the middle school and for the upper school quite shocking some of the time (that is if you are of the Christian religion and believe the Bible is God's true work - if you are willing to bend the Bible into how you would like to interpret it, then you probably will not have a problem). Educators are for the most part Democrats which had not seemed to have been a problem until this past election. Many students got into trouble displaying Trump paraphenalia, in chapel when Obama was president, the students were called to pray for him - not for Trump?!? Teachers got mad when students spoke of Trump . . . We believe all are created equal - we are called to love - BUT we are not called to stand up in chapel and celebrate sexual differences, take a knee for Black Lives Matter. Parish has carried things way too far

Parish Episcopal has a great community of kids and parents brought together by an innovative faculty and administration. Parish is a newer upper school and - as such - is not bound by tradition for the sake of tradition and is keeping its programs, facilities and faculty on the cutting edge of learning. It provides opportunity for all students to excel and to find success for themselves.

My daughter is in 6th grade and started at Parish as at three years. We have been very happy with the responsiveness of the head of school to concerns, which he made sure were addressed. I love how welcoming and inclusive the parents and kids are, I like that the HOS is constantly evaluating what's going on in education and incorporating cutting-edge theory into the curriculum. The after school program is great; my daughter takes piano and two dance classes after school. (not cheap, but worth it) I also like that they require the kids in middle school to take dance, band/choir, theater for a trimester. My daughter participated in the Robotics program last year against her will and ended up having a blast. The ramped up STEM program is so exciting. Finally, the emphasis on leadership and the programs used to teach and encourage it make me certain this is the right school for our daughter.

I am a freshman at Parish this year and this is my second year attending parish. i was looking forward to having a great christian education. Although we do have a daily chapel, Christianity is a minority at parish and almost discouraged. We aren't allowed to have any sort of bible club of anything about christianity because it may "offend other religions" we cant even call the tree in our hallway, a christmas tree, we are forced to call it a "holiday tree." Despite the religion problem, i would say the best part about parish is its academics, MOST of the teachers are great at what they do, but alot of them arent too nice. But you do learn alot. The kids at parish arent all that accepting either. some of them are so nice though. It definately is a competetive crowd. I will not be attending parish next year.

Is ok, there are better private schools out there for the amount of money they ask.

We have had a much different experience from the review below. We went through an extensive process to find the right fit for our kids in the Dallas private school circle. Parish offers the very appropriate high academic environment along with the ability for both my girls to experience some wonderful extracurricular activities, some of which are offered through their EXTEND program. My oldest is in Middle School this year for the first time, and we are very impressed with the honors curriculum to which she is being exposed. In our middle school, we have a steady flow of interested applicants, many of whom are coming to us from our competitors. Our Head of School, Dave Monaco, energizes and motivates both students and parents, and he has brought such creativity and innovation to our programs. I truly believe my kids will be better prepared for the real world with what they are being given at Parish. I am proud to say we are a family who intends to be lifers at Parish!

The quality of the Parish Episcopal School experience has declined markedly in the past 2-3 years. It was at that time that a new Head of School took over and the mission of the school seems to have really changed since then. Our child changed schools in the interim and our family has been very pleased with that change. While there are many great families and kids at Parish, there are glaring problems with the quality of the educational experience and overall quality of student body. Again, there are some TERRIFIC kids at the school... but we found an alarming number of disciplinary problem kids at the lower High School level. At 24,000++, the experience doesn't come close to other Dallas area private schools asking the same fees. Instead of competing at the highest level, the school seems content to serve as a catch all... accepting students regardless of academic or disciplinary deficiencies. In fact, the school seems to pride itself on serving problem students... which only attracts more disciplinary problem kids. There has been a steady exodus from the MS & HS in the past 2-3 years. Those who can get into other private schools begin making the leap starting in middle school.

This school is great! Students are explained the new topics thoroughly and therefore learn a lot! I definitely recommend it to possible future students.

Graduated from Parish a few years ago. Really the reason you should attend this school is for the teachers. The vast majority of teachers here are very good at what they do and try their best to give personal attention to each student. A lot of the techniques I use to study in college I learned from assignments I did in high school. Teachers are also so friendly and well-liked that it's very common to see students hanging out in a teacher's office just talking; students and teachers are pretty much one whole community. The school actively tries to foster a diverse and inclusive student body, which I think it does very well. I know at my current university I come from by far the most diverse school out of the vast majority of my friends. People also had a variety of interests in academics, athletics, arts, etc. If I had rated the school when I graduated, I'd give it a 4/5, but thanks to a lot of radical new changes I've heard about, I have to give it a 5/5. I'm seriously jealous of all the new things that current students have access to that I never did.

Our children have attended Parish for 10 years. One child graduated in 2011, one is in high school and one is in lower elementary. So we have experienced every division and campus of this school multiple times over many years. We highly, highly recommend Parish. The academics, athletics and arts programs are excellent. And the school and administration are constantly looking for ways to improve and innovate. Of course, no school is perfect. But any issues we have experienced or heard about over the years have been addressed. And isn't that what you want in a school? When our older children were in middle school and we asked if they wanted to consider applying someplace else, they both said absolutely not. And when it came time to apply for our youngest, we looked nowhere else. When he graduates in 2023, we will have had a 20-year relationship with Parish. I think that speaks volumes about the kind of school Parish is.

Our child just started this year. She loves going there. The teachers are engaging and dedicated. The faculty are very supportive. The faculty encourage the parents to be involved. The EXTEND program provides an amazing amount of opportunity for the children. The new STEM center is awesome. I have seen a positive change in my daughter since attending this school. The families have been inviting and helpful. The family organized activities helped my daughter adjust to the new school.

I have a 6th grader and a junior at Parish. We love this school! Such a nurturing place for our boys! We came from large public Plano schools, where your kids are just a number. The athletic programs are phenomenal! I am so excited that we could give our children the incredible opportunity to attend this top tier school!

Just had a '12 graduate and he's been at Parish since 5th grade. Now we have a future Aggie on our hands. He loves his graduating class with friends going from Claremont in California to Columbia in NY. Wonderful experience
