Very long boring days, classes feel very long and repetitive, often times finding yourself sitting and starring at a wall for hours of the day. Students don’t respect teachers or the building itself. There are many fights through the year. There are good teachers who do want to show kids how to learn but work at a school that makes it very hard and have students who refuse to try. Vapes are a big problem in the school. Wish there was a bigger focus on allowing those who want to learn to be able to, over those who refuse to respect the school or fellow piers.

Schools are so behind the times of today’s standards. Nottoway is stuck in a vicious cycle because 90% of the staff graduated from Nottoway so they don’t know anything different which means nothing will ever change. There is so much bullying and it keeps getting worse every year. Several sexual assaults within the school with no action from the staff other than making excuses for the assailants. You can forget a 504 or IEP, I’m not even sure they know what that is. The number of students decreases every year because parents realize that their children’s mental health is at stake in these schools and there are other options. The schools cannot attain full accreditation and, if given the chance, the superintendent will lie straight to your face.

The cirriculum is a joke and the staff like the principal plays favorites with students, the janitors don't do their job, the school rather fund a losing football team that probably won't ever win.
