Family reading nights in the fall; STEM nights in the spring; very active and supportive PTO; MOST (not all) teachers are professional and supportive; friendly office staff; AR incentives and rewards for reading; opportunities to learn using technology; creative teaching ideas from a lot of the teachers. Overall, don't let the test scores fool you- there is a lot of good stuff going on at Mountain View!

We moved here and we left within a year, a horrible horrible mistake, esp if you are not from the that area...RUN and RUN fast. I seen children lined up in straight lines being screamed at...My child was an above average student who was picked on and had no help in adusting...we moved and she is on now happy and has kept an B average! STAY AWAY!

Teachers make learning interesting and fun. Office staff is friendly and supportive. Lots of parent involvement.
