I'm a parent of a kindergartener and we have been extremely satisfied with the Barnes campus and staff. Everyone is always so friendly, caring, and positive. My daughter has learned a lot this year and she looks forward to going to school every day which makes me feel very comfortable because I know she is in good hands!

Barnes Elementary is a very warm and welcoming community. The teachers work hard to engage students in learning and make connections to the real world. The students are respectful and friendly. The leadership at this school is very approachable and easy to work with.

This school is a great place to work! The staff is super friendly, helpful, and always goes above and beyond to not only help the students, but other staff members as well. The staff works so hard to prepare lessons that are engaging as well as informative to help prepare and challenge the students for greatness. Students come in each day, ready to learn and push themselves to new levels of success. The administrative staff is so supportive and understanding with any situation, professional or not.

Barnes is a campus that focuses on showing students how to be good citizens in our community. It isnt all about the test. The students love being there because they feel safe and loved!

I absolutely love this school. I have two sons that go there and I can see their little personality bloom along with their academics. My oldest son went there as well and he loved his 5th grade teachers. The administration is so involved and loving to all the kids.

Barnes Elementary is a welcoming, friendly school that challenges students to be their best both academically and social emotionally. Teachers provide opportunities for students to collaborate with their peers and engage in the world around them. It uses Capturing Kids Hearts strategies to help students be effective in making positive choices. Barnes strives to meet the needs of all our students and is constantly seeking ways to improve instruction so that our students are prepared year to year. We have many organizations that students may participate in during after school activities. We have many family events because we love our families and want to create positive relationships with them. STARS shine bright at Barnes Elementary!!

My son will be starting middle school next fall and has been at Barnes from K-5. I also have a daughter who has been there from PK and will be finishing 3rd grade this summer. I have to say that I have enjoyed taking my children to Barnes every day. I have had interaction with many teachers. Of course there are differences in personality but what remained constant was their desire to see my children succeed. The office staff is also great and very friendly. There is a lot of parent support thanks to the PTA. There are also great clubs that my children have enjoyed being a part of. All in all, I would not have changed anything about my son’s elementary school experience and that is thanks to this wonderful school.

Im moving from florida and enrolled my kids there in this school not have gifted class so they remove my son from that program this school don't teach to much like in florida my son is on 4 grade and the stuff he learned here he already learned in 2 grade really bad school
