In our experience, Wilson Elementary has provided the best time for our daughter and for our life as a family in this stage of life. Our daughter has made new friends, has learned new things day by day in 5 years in a DLI program and we have built part of our community family there. The teachers are so special and professionals with the kids, all the community staff support with their expertises the best school life to face all the challenges of our daughter’s life. We love Wilson Elementary School.

As of the date of this review, Wilson is the best elementary school in Coppell ISD. It is a special place, and every student who attends is part of that culture of acceptance, encouragement, hard work, and leadership.Cooper Hilton, Principal, is the President of the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association. He is the gold standard for educators and has hand selected a model staff that fit his vision for excellency in every way.Wilson is half Spanish Dual Language Immersion and half monolingual curriculum. Do not be alarmed by the data on test scores - it is common in schools with DLI programs for scores to be lower until grades 4 and 5 but then the scores shoot above average. DLI is a marathon, not a sprint.

We have been a Wilson family for the last 7 years with our kids participating in the dual language program. We all love Wilson. Our kids were always happy to go to school. Most of the teachers we have had were great, and the very few I thought were not as good, are no longer in the school. Mr Hilton, the principal, is very kind, humble, and approachable. It is a great environment and the teachers and administrative personal have always been kind. The school offers diverse opportunities for extra curricular activities at no cost, including their outstanding musical theater program.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Encourage participation in their dual-language program. We are looking forward to many more great years at Wilson!
