Columbus elementary has been recently renovated and expanded. My children attended prior to the updates, but received an excellent education from a caring and dedicated staff. The school offers an in-house charter school program with a focus on hands on learning.

Columbus Elementary is a great place for students and parents. The staff members really care about each and every child. I also like the fact that the school and grounds "speak" science. Plants, fish, a school turtle named Yurtle and several gardens on site peak the interests of young children.

A lot of schools have a tendency to look very institutional. That is definitely not the case with Columbus Elementary. It is a beautiful school that inspires students to learn. The staff are all committed to the students learning and growth. They go above and beyond for every student that walks into their classroom. Special care is taken to ensure every student gets exactly what they need to learn. Other schools should aspire to be like Columbus Elementary.

CES offers a wonderful variety of academic and community activities. The Discovery Charter School is an excellent option. The teachers are supportive and knowledgeable. The principal is innovative and forward-thinking.
