I do not recommend the school to anybody. I have a autistic daughter who is in kindergarten this year. Has been there for 2 months and already having trouble with the principal marking my daughter absent from another school she use to attend to,getting letters from the principal but never has done nothing about the kids bullying my daughter. Livingston elementary school needs to fired the principal and the teachers or they need to close the school down permanently

My son felt safe, and confident in the schools environment. He's teacher's really pushed him to engage in the class outings and activities, and it has caused his love for learning to grow. His Teacher's Mr. Bernaridi, Mrs. Walker, and Mr. Craig really care about the students in their class and the school. The school is more of a family than anything else.

I am a current staff member in this building. First of all, we have a great building. Secondly, we have a hard working staff that is willing to go the extra mile for a students success.

Livingston elementary school it's a horrible elementary school. My daughter has been going there since pre-k and had no problems until this year when she went to 2nd grade and they got a new principal and all new teachers. The school has no discipline. The school has so many bad kids that the ones who want to learn does not have the opportunity. My daughter has been begging me to switch her school due to the bad children in her class and the bulling issue that is not being addressed by the principal or teachers. I would not recommend this school to anyone.

My son attended this school in pre-k, kindergarten, and I took him out for 1st grade then he came back in 2nd grade it was nothing but problems and they knew he had behavioral problems the principal never worked with his issues just always wanting to suspend him and send him to peak and never let him go on field trips. Needless to say its sad that the principal and teachers are no longer there I was not the only one having a issue I just did'nt knw any resources or where I could turn. I tried the school board and everything else before I pulled him out. I really wanted this school to work but it didnt. Columbus Public Schools needs to straighten up and get our kids on the right path.

The new school looks great on the outside. I sat in on the 2nd grade class my 7 yr is in for 2 hours. There was a lack of discipline the entire time. For those who seemed to be paying attention, I don't know how they could hear because of the constant disruptions by other students walking around, talking out loud, totally ignoring the constant calls from the teacher to sit down, get off the desk, pick your pencil off the floor. I was there because we had received phone calls that my 7 yr old is being disruptive. He has never acted out like this before. How does a child who is a so introverted, in a shell but all of a sudden starts acting out? He's been bullied, and hit on this year. He's behind in his class. I spoke with the principle who listened to my concerns but could only tell me to tell my 7 yr old he shouldn't act like the rest. Of course we tell him that. He is disciplined and given our expectations. This behavior is not typical of him as he is always attempting to please and be of help at home. This is not our 7 yr old. Something is wrong.
