No problems with any teachers except for Math. Seemed this teachers focus was more on coaching sports vs. teaching in the classroom. Tried to get extra help for my student numerous times. Asked for lesson plans ahead of time so we could get extra practice in when needed but was put off saying my student was doing fine and didn't need it. (C's and D's are not my definition of fine)Tried escalating to Principals but my complaints fell on deaf ears aparently.My student often came home talking about kids using bad language all the time and fights breaking out.One student reportedly threw their chromebook at another who moved out of the way but the chromebook smashed against a wall resulting in the fire department needing to be dispatched for the resulting fire. (Lithium Ion batteries do not take well to damage)As other reviewers have mentioned the Principals seem to talk a lot about students needing to be courteous and respectful to each other but it seems to be just talk and no action.

I think this school should educate students on being respectful to others no matter race or origin. Calling someone the N word is totally disrespectful and should not be tolerated but clearly at this school its ok. Not acceptable

It was overall very very terrible. Teachers and friends were the only redeemable qualities of this school. If I had the chance to do it over I never would have gone, even though I've met some of my best friends here.

Teachers try there best and it's a really good school. If you don't understand the teachers will let you get your lunch and come in their room and help you. The best school I have went to so far.

Dominion Middle School is an excellent middle school. The faculty and administration work hard to provide opportunities for every student to excel, and they consistently honor all students' achievements. The climate of the school is peaceful and cooperative. The principal is incredibly thoughtful and is continuously working to increase student body unity and cohesion. Her efforts have been tremendously successful. My son loves his school and is looking forward to next year!

This school is terrible, I attended it for 1 year and hated my time there, I eventually changed schools becuz it was so bad. I made many friends but also got bullied a lot. DO NOT SEND students here, my new school, ridgeview, is much better.

My son is now a seventh grader and rates the school a 4 star. He had never had played and instrument and now has played the trombone for two years and loves it. His band teacher, Mr. Carlson is one of the BEST! He also thinks all of his other teachers are great and makes learning fun. He like art, however did not like the art teacher at all. She needs to retire. My son does miss the old vice principle Mr. Brown

im a 8th grader at dominion middle school an i hate it. the teachers are inapproiate. and the teachers don't teach us very good. and never have . the princeable wont punish people. I got jumped on the bus last year and the princable did nothing about it. so I rate this ZERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a sixth grader at Dominion. So far I believe that this school is wonderful. The principal is always involved in activities. The assistant principal is not the best but I have not had problems with him yet. Dominion takes bullying very seriously but have not had that problem because the students I have met were very nice and encouraging. This school has amazing teachers in academic classes. All the encore (arts) teachers are great too except the art teacher who is very rude and mean. This school is outstanding and if you want a great school, Dominion Middle School is the right choice!
