Teachers really care about their students and are willing to stay after school or come early before school to meet with them. It feels more like a family and you know that they are going to do what it takes to help you be successful. The House System helps keeps kids engaged with each other and learn how to work with diverse groups of people. This school is dedicated to preparing children for their life beyond the walls of the school. People go above and beyond at this school.

First off their enrollment process is a JOKE! Applied for enrollment early Jan testing scheduled/taken and 130.00 enrollment paid. Rec'd email stating decisions will be made by Feb. 8th. My husband had to call Feb 20th, to find out if our son was accepted or not. My son wasnt accepted Im not upset about their decision. What Im upset about how dare BHS string people around like their the only high school in Columbus, Ohio! They run and cash your check with no second guessing. Going forward BHS needs to create an enrollment questionnaire for parents therefore, the parent will know if their child will be accepted. Um, my children used to attend All Saints and I withdrew them because they wasn't learning anything but All Saints feed into BHS. My son was denied and his GPA is 3.1 played sports. So what is the criteria? Speechless...it wasn't meant to be.

A supportive House system, alternative teaching styles that encourage students to learn for themselves instead of by memory. 98 percent of the graduates go on to college. That says it all.

I am a 2009 graduate of Bishop Hartley High School and can attest that this school more than any other influence prepared me for success in college. I currently attend one of the most difficult and prestigious liberal arts schools in the South and am excelling tremendously. I highly recommend BHHS to any student. It truly will develop even the most struggling of students into studious and well-rounded adolescents.
