The phrase "rules for thee, not for me" aptly describes my experience with this school. The staff demonstrates clear biases, and there are ongoing mold issues that raise serious concerns. In 2024 it’s disheartening to witness teachers seemingly giving preferential treatment based on skin color, which creates an environment of exclusion and inequity. I rated family engagement a 5 because students are likely to struggle significantly without substantial parental involvement in teaching the subject matter at home. It appears the staff prioritizes financial gain and high test scores over genuine care for student well-being and academic success.

Allen has been a good school to my special needs son. The teachers and VP try to help the best they can with a proper approach. The staff is always welcoming and very friend. The teachers that work with the special needs program take on a lot and do their best to help each student out. It can be frustrating at times, but at least the school is trying.

This school is excellent. All my three children goes here. Teachers are excellent. Very professional. The principle is such a leader and an example to the rest of the teachers. Very good school in town.

This school is a good school. My son improved greatly in his reading and the after school program is wonderful. The staff also helped me find a provider for him in the morning. Being in the military and a single mom I cannot stress how nice it is to have a good school that I trust and challenges my son.

Allen Elementary is a wonderful school. As the Principal since 2009, I encourage anyone who is moving into this area to pay us a visit. Our goal is to meet the students individual needs and to do what is in the best interest of each and every student. The staff is caring, loving, and willing to do whatever it takes for their students. The extraordinary interior is warm and inviting, colorfully painted and decorated. WE LOVE OUR SCHOOL.....WE are a true family.
