This school condones bullying. No matter how many times you report it nothing will be done about it. My niece has been experiencing other kids hitting, pushing and threatening to kill her and nothing has been done to protect her.

I have had children at Leaphart for going on 5 years now and I cannot speak highly enough of the teachers and administration. They work so hard to create a loving and positive environment for all of the children. I have one child in the advanced placement class and she is really thriving. My other 2 are in the lower grades and not yet eligible for AGP, but they are also getting a good education and having a very positive classroom experience. I’m very impressed with how well they deal with behavioral issues and make sure all children’s needs are met.

This school has worked with my child who has High Functioning Autism and I have seen amazing growth in him since attending. His teachers are understanding of his sensory and educational needs and how they differ from other children. The staff has always been in communication with me as far as any questions or concerns go. My son is able to attend "regular" classes (as opposed to being in a self contained or special education class). He is treated like any neurotypical child would be and has thrived since attending Leaphart Elementary.

After having been a parent at this school for more than 8 years, I have seen lots of changes, both good and bad at Leaphart. I am a firm believer that the staff is the best it has ever been and that they care for each child and their education. The school has transitioned from a STEM magnet to a STEAM magnet school, which allows for additional methods of teaching. I am extremely happy with the education that my children have been afforded by Leaphart.

My 6 year old just transferred to this school from riversprings elementary also district 5.Myself and her are both disappointed in the things that's happening to her in her kindergarten class.will speak to the principal of this school first thing Monday morning.

My daughter attends Leaphart; she transferred from a private school where there were approximately 25 kids in her class. She is in a class of 14, I feel truly blessed because she needed the extra attention. She has an excellent teacher who is patient and kind and very open to communication. The entire staff is great. Sometimes all of the "outside" activites (Family night, Engineering night, Bi-lo night...) can be overwhelming for an "Old Mommy" like me, but as long as my daughter is happy, we will continue to support Leaphart!
