I had two students graduate from Battle High School in its earliest years. The teachers were tremendous and I preferred Battle to the other high schools my other children attended.

I had two students graduate from Battle. Both had greater than 3.5 GPA, and both scored above 25 on the ACT. When I read the negative comments about the school, I get the impression those are from parents who never visited the school or spoke with the principal. The principal often met students as they walked in the building, and on back to school nights, the teachers turned out in great numbers to answer any questions the students and parents had. Student grades are quickly posted on Schoology, and teachers promptly responded to emails from me. During athletic events, there is a great amount of school pride from both the students and parents. If you are an active part of your students education, it will be a great experience. If you just send your kids to school so they can be babysat for the day, you will have a bad experience.

Very liberal agenda, extremely racist over tones towards white, and teachers who don't care about students or themselves don't have the educational background , to even teach children. They are very incompetent.

Very negative outlook for the Administration and student body. Outside of AP and Honors classrooms there is a virtual lack of classroom management, rampant racism, favoritism among staff, ineffective and extremely poor leadership from Administrators and almost nonexistent college planning leaves these young Spartans ill-equipped for tomorrow.

In the 3.5 years this school has been open, the school community has done a great job of coming together and creating new traditions. The school has opportunities for every student to become involved, and many excellent art, athletic, and extracurricular clubs from which to choose. Looking forward to seeing the continued growth of this school, and the impacts that its alumni will have.
