I went to New Haven when I was in Elementary school and my son went there as well.

We love this school! Our two children attend there, and it has been a great experience for both of them. There is not a single teacher there who I would not want my kids to have. They're all awesome, as is the principal and other staff. My children have received great support for their styles of learning, and feel truly cared for by their teachers. I feel like the students have been kind and supportive of all others. I also love how diversity is celebrated there.

I have three boys at New Haven and cannot possibly say enough good things about this school! They recognize when students need extra attention early and give them what is needed to succeed. My children LOVE to go to school and want to get there early every day. The school also is very diverse which is a plus for the students to see the differences and similarities of other cultures! This school also recognizes the need for joy as for some kids it may be the only time in their day they experience the feeling! We recently moved completely opposite side of town and I still transport them here! I could go on and on!

Love this small school! The staff are very friendly and understanding, especially in the self contained classroom. Laura Borghardt is an Amazing teacher! The speech therapist is also Great! Love the administration and the ladies in the office.

I just recently enrolled my child at New Haven, but have heard wonderful things about the school within the community. I heard that the school was undergoing some changes with new teachers and a new principal. When I went to the school to register, I was impressed with the staff, and got to meet the new principal. I'm very excited for my child to be attending New Haven. There seems to be great communication in place, and everyone was extremely friendly and inviting. I'm very excited for my child, and am looking forward to a great year.

New Haven Elementary has been a wonderful school for our family. Our three children have learned how to become good students and helpful members of their community. Our children have enjoyed their teachers and have made many good friends with other children who attend this terrific school.

New Haven is a great family friendly school! The teachers are wonderful. They spend a lot of time with each student. My children love going to school everyday!

New Haven is a wonderful school community. They have outstanding teachers, some of the best in the district. We were planning to build a house and intentionally choose property in this school area based on strong recommendations. We couldn't be happier that we listened. Our three children are receiving a great education, have wonderful friends with caring and involved parents, and get to enjoy school in an atmosphere free from bullying and negativity that plagues many schools in this day and age. 5 stars to the staff at New Haven for creating such a wonderful and safe learning environment.

My two girls attend New Haven and the teachers and staff are wonderful. The atmosphere is warm, kind and nurturing and the rules are enforced consistently among the staff! They have enjoyed their time at New Haven and I would highly recommend the school to others.

New Haven is a smaller elementary school in Columbia and we enjoy that about it. The teachers and staff are very accessible and approachable and great with the kids. There could definitely be more parent involvement, but its not at the fault of the school as they welcome parents to be involved as much as possible. We really enjoy New Haven.

New Haven has wonderful attentive staff. Their focus on children's education is excellent. It is the mission of the New Haven Community to meet the developmental needs of the whole child, empowering each student to be a productive, responsible citizen in our changing world. The goal of New Haven school is to develop independent, self-reliant, life-long learners. We love New Haven.

Our child was a student at this school for a part of this school year when we moved here. We were not impressed with the way the staff handled problems within the school. We honestly felt that they look at you in a way such as: "if your child has not been a student in our school since day one" they are discriminated and treated differently. We transferred our child to another school.
