We moved to Colorado a year ago and the teachers quickly made our girls feel at home. As someone who has worked in schools, it is clear how much the entire staff cares for the kiddos. They care not just about them as students, but as people. We saw immense growth from our girls in confidence and willingness to work hard both in and out of the classroom. We found both a home and a family at Henry Elementary and excited to watch our girls continue to grow.

All four of my children attended Henry Elementary 2022-2023 and we are glad we found this school and planning on staying! All teachers are amazing and very professional. Preschool program has helped my youngest with her learning development and my other grade level kids are doing amazing.

We started at this school several years ago when our oldest was routed here for the free preschool program. After the first year, we knew this was the school for us. Every teacher we have had since has been so wonderful to our children and despite their differences in needs and learning ability, they are always being challenged, encouraged and supported every step of the way. HIGHLY recommend this school.

Henry Elementary is incredible! My daughter struggled with reading at her old school, but as soon as she started at Henry they gave her all the tools she needed to not only improved quickly but excel! The whole school works together to create more individualized plans for each child so that struggling kids get the tools, help, and support they need, and overachievers continue to be challenged.Henry deserves a much higher rating, don't under-estimate the value of the Progress score. Highly recommend Henry Elementary.

I have to students at this school since 2011. Even after we moved out of the school boundaries, I choiced my kids in so they could stay. The staff is wonderful and both of my girls have always been above grade level in all subjects. The teachers make sure to still challenge them so they continue to grow. They truly care about the students as individuals and make sure to teach them all in a way that is right for the student and shows real, measurable progress. This is a wonderful school!

Overall, a very good school choice option = Four stars! Whether dealing w/ a gifted child, a household w/ lesser means/ low income, or children of abuse (for example), this school does its best to ensure a safe, positive learning environment for the students, & works w/ parents to give them peace of mind. I am grateful. Thank you!

My daughter has been to this school now Kindergarten and just finished first grade. We've only had one issue, but Mr.Caspear the principal stepped in and took care of it right away and even brought my daughter to us when she missed the bus the first day of school due to miscommunication and not having the bus tags ready for the kids. The teachers and staff are wonderful and I'm very proud of the progress I've seen achieved with my daughter from the start of school to the end.

To start off me and my sister both went to school here over ten years ago and I loved it!Now that my son attends kindergarten here I can't stand it. The first week of school my son came home with throw up all over him and NO ONE knew anything about it or when it happened. Parents aren't allowed to go into classrooms or see where or talk to who is "teaching" them face to face.

I've been a Patrick Henry parent since 2011. We love it there! I have one student who has been there since Kindergarten and is now close to completing 5th grade, another student who spent 2 years in preschool there and is now in Kindergarten, and I'm hoping my youngest can start preschool this upcoming fall. I wouldn't send my kids to any other elementary school unless I had no choice. The principal is great. Friendly and very involved. All the staff have always been great and the teachers have always been good about communication and really take an interest in each child's education. We have had some minor snafus over the years but nothing major. My only complaint is the current drop off/pickup system, but I understand it was put in place to try and keep the students safer. I like that the school uses the Class Dojo system which makes talking with teachers and staff so much easier. Digital report cards are great also since I always lost the paper ones. I really like that the Kindergarten and preschool playground is separate. Overall I just really love this school and everyone in it.

The staff at Patrick Henry Elementary School is focused on improving student achievement in a safe, supportive environment. Classroom teachers, working cooperatively in grade level teams, present a standards based aligned curriculum kindergarten fifth grade. Henry provides a gifted and talented program as well as an after school tutoring support program to meet the needs of all students. Patrick Henry encourages parental and community support through a variety of programs and opportunities. Involvement at the school includes our Parent-Teacher Organization, the Building Advisory Accountability Committee, and the District Advisory Accountability Committee, as well as numerous opportunities to assist in the classroom and building. Clearly the poster from Oct. 30 has a bone to pick with this school, but we've never had any problems with Henry. Love it! And the principal is an amazing, gentle person.

Let's start with the principal, he dose not care for the students, there is no leader ship from the principal. There are no real programs that challenge the children attending, and if a child needs a bit more attention or help on a subject don't expect them to receive it. I mean this school just let my child walk off with another family and didn't care. 5 hours my child was missing and all I got from the principal and the office attendant was "sorry we let him go, we don't know who he left with or what we can really do at this point". Since the principal has been in charged at the school the overall academic program has dropped significantly and as long as he is there the kids will be lacking behind compared to the neighboring schools. I strongly suggest to think twice before letting your kids attend Patric Henry Elementary School.
