I don't recommend this school as they do not know how to follow a 504 plan and Dr.Jason Sears has made the school go down in quality in less than a year of him being there.

Please come visit us and make an appointment to meet with the principal or school counselor. We are always willing to meet parents and community members who want to learn about our school system as well as help us find ways to continually improve.

This school is way behind in academics. My children transferred from another school where they was in classes needed to graduate and got put in classes that aren't needed instead of put in classes that are needed because they don't have enough space to add anymore children in the main classes due to having limited teachers for each main subject. If you want your children to succeed and not be behind, I seriously do not recommend this school.

This Town has it all, and we just love it. The kids have so much to enjoy, and everyone is so friendly. It is great to take our dog for a walk together, and go to the games. The schools love their sports and outdoors, and the teachers are great folks and friends.

Colonial Beach High School has slowly tarnished year after year. Although the school has very many qualities it lacks in many ways. The new principal is horrid and doesn't have the school in control. Behavior problems are outstanding and the punishments are, as usual, lacking. The sports teams used to be what carried the school but with the threat of no longer having athletics the students have become apathetic of their school work and test scores. Honestly, I don't blame them. The community doesn't want the school here any longer so why should they care? The school board is corrupt and needs some serious reevaluating. Along with most of the superiors of the school. I wouldn't recommend this school to any student or parent. The system needs to be rebuilt from the ground up if they want to progress.
