This school is not somewhere I would want my child to go, and I currently work here. It’s gotten worse over the years, I completely blame administration. Students don’t feel safe going to them with their problems because nothing ever gets solved. They try to handle things are their own or they just bury the way they feel. Bullying is a huge problem and staff does nothing to reprimand, besides maybe a day or a block in ISS because the principal wants to try and keep the rating up. Certain kids should have been removed from the district a long time ago, but they continue to get passes, even though these kids have threatened multiple other children and even staff. But it all gets swept under the rug. Parents aren’t notified when there is a concerning student who others should honestly fear because they have shown multiple times, they are to be feared. I don’t recommend anyone going to this school until administration changes. No rules are followed, protection isn’t given and if you aren’t in the inner circle of the staff, you get snubbed. A lot of students aren’t listened to because they are deemed “dramatic” even if what they are saying should raise concern with admins. The school needs a total sweep of principals.

Teachers are great, but most students are not. I get bullied and harassed a lot for my gender orientation and my sexuality. Some of the teachers here do not seem to care at all. I don't really even feel safe anymore after I came out a year ago. My friends make things better, but definitely, not the teachers that for sure.

Decent school, some good teachers, some really need to leave. Biggest problem here are mean kids (girls and boys) who sadly have lots of followers. Fights are becoming more common, last fight teachers watched screaming to stop finally after lots of blood one single female English teacher broke it up. If you are thinking this will be a great school look closer at other areas. Too many people are from here , making it a small town feel but they are not welcoming into their circle and that rubs off big time on their mean kids. Seeing your kid come home everyday sad and upset over being called a "loner" "weird quiet girl" is getting old....don't choose this situation for your kid...and no we are not new to area my kids have grown up here...thankful to be moving.
