i am a student here. I’m moving up and I’m super scared. I got bullied last year by people who I thought were my friends. She put corn in my hair and poured milk in me after she stole something from me and I tried to get it back. Teachers love humiliating students. Plenty of girls vaped I’m class and they never said anything. I asked a teacher about one of the girls and she said that she had seen her. This was nothing like the school I went to last year which was a 8/10 school. I don’t recommend this school at all. If you want your straight A student to turn into a failing student then go here.

The teacher pulled my ear and refused to let me use the restroom during emergancy.

i went to this school in 2016 to 2017. i was bullied, awful teachers, fights, etc

I feel terrible sending my children to this school. It breaks my heart to hear what they go through on a daily basis. I hate to even think about it. A lot of the bullying goes on in class while teachers are present! My daughter went from being an outgoing, smiling, confident young woman, to what can be compared to as institutionalized. No confidence, no smiles, no laughs. She knows that she just has to "do her time" and pray the next school will be better.

Absolutely horrible! I dreaded sending my child to this school due to the stories of family and friend who attended here. Stay away if any way possible.

Middle school is a trying time for all students, and it is made more difficult by the fact that CMS has 6 feeder schools coming from 2 different school districts, Anderson County and Clinton City, in two different grade levels, 6th and 7th grade respectively. Despite this massive hurdle, the staff at CMS works to give students opportunities ranging from athletics to field trips. They set high expectations for all students because it is obvious that their goal is for all students to have a successful high school career and beyond.

The teachers through away forms that your child and you fill out. They also yell insults at your child too. They punish your kid harshly for no reason. They are sexist. They punish your kids with out even telling them. They lie to the parents. They expect the kids there to read 40 books when they are barley given any time to read. They stressed my child out so much that he cried and he is in 7th grade. They gave him so much home work that it took him so long when he got done it was 11:00 at night, and he wasn't even finish.

I Attend this School in 2006-2008. This place really feel like i was a outcast i was 13 and i was a young handsome and sweet boy who just hit puberty. I wanted to have a Girlfriend by this time but i did not demand it i just try to be a gentlemen, but every time i tired i get bullied by what i call "muscle men". People would just walk as i was being laughed at by my tormentors. No one back me up at the school not even my friends i lost my best friend who i knew him since kindergarten. he thought everything was a joke. I knew i felt alone when one girl said to me in music's class "no one likes you". no one helped me or even asked me if i need help. i was not weak i tried to defend myself but i was scared of the consequences. This school is awful, Teachers don't care unless they get paid who cares if four strong boys pick on the weak. This School ruined my early teenage years and i feel awful for the ones that go there may god be with them.

I was a student at this school and couldn't wait to leave. It's ridiculous. The verbal and physical bullying is terrible and nothing's ever done. Teachers witness profanity and do nothing. There are a few great teachers who'll admit that bullying and other things is a very large problem, but there's nothing they can do. They tell their superiors and their superiors do nothing. The education isn't anything to be proud of either. There's no individualism and students are left figuring a lot of things out themselves, and then teachers wonder why students fail. The school isn't very clean, either. I constantly had ants in my locker and they were in classrooms and hallways as well. Money isn't spent wisely either. Athletic teams were constantly getting new gear, uniforms, etc. and things had to be cut (chorus, drama performances, etc.). Favoritism is widely practiced at CMS. The jocks, cheerleaders, and popular kids get many more breaks than other kids. Overall, there are a few wonderful teachers I'll miss that are trying to make a difference but just can't succeed in their conflicted environment. If I had children, I wouldn't send them to this school because of my experiences there.
