After been in different public schools, definitely Clinton is the worst. How is possible have the kids of kindergarten in recess outside when is 25 degrees. They love when the kids get sick and stay home

Our experience at Clinton Elementary has been mostly positive. I am very pleased that teachers listen to parents regarding curricula issues and the administration encourages a very strong PTA. They have partnered with parks and recreation and the town library to provide special activities. These activities and events bring the student community together and create special traditions. One great strength is the diversity of the student body - different languages, economic backgrounds, learning abilities and students are encouraged to be inclusive and welcoming. Learning to build a good community where everyone has something to contribute makes stronger students too.

This school is amazing ! The teachers are very competent , always attentive to all the questions that involve the development and learning of the children. It is a school accustomed to receiving children from many different countries and perhaps this is why it encourages respect for differences. My daughter loves the teachers and the school!

My children have excelled at CES. They've been there since age 3 and are now 2nd graders. Every teacher/para and specialist have been nothing less than helpful and encouraging. They go to the extreme to make sure my children are challenged and happy. There is also a huge parental involvement, which I believe makes the school even greater.

Pros: Diverse population Celebration of student strengths High desire for parent involvement Highly communicative Passion abounds Cons: Lack of understanding of school culture vs. real world Need for better understanding of the community they are serving Staff seem overworked and stressed at times

I find that this school writes up students for very ridiculous reason, my complaint is only with the VP of this school. It think everyone else is great.
