This school lacks self control and character my child attended this school last year ,she was constantly bullied the teacher nor principal NEVER took time to look into the issue. I'm glad to send my child to a different school this year.

Kids are kids. Sometimes they are not nice to each other. The principal and staff take the time to address EVERYTHING that is brought to their attention. My three kids do research, learn Latin, and get pushed academically all year long. Bullying is NOT an issue here. The parents that say it is haven't sat down and talked to the principal or the teachers. I never have a problem talking to anyone there and I know they care about my kids.

This school allows bullying among students and does not try to resolve problem .don't sent your child here because they don't care about you child concerns

I think that many of the complains of this school are expressed because discipline has been doled out. If "little notes passed" are over looked, what next? School should be hard work and parents should STOP depending on sports to corral their children and sit down with them AND help them succeed.

I have no complaints about St. Stans. I always observe the kids on great behavior. Both of my children are receiving a wonderful education. My daughter is having some troubles with learning, but her teacher is wonderful and the extra help she needs is available and used. I really think St. Stans is a great school and I plan on keeping my children there until 8th grade graduation. Reading these comments, there are a few negative ones, but I see a big difference in comments between pre new principal & post new principal. Mrs. Martin is a wonderful principal who demands (and receives) the upmost respect from the children (I have seen her walk downstairs to a hall of noisy children and as soon as she turned the corner with her hand up, it became silent). She is a very visable principal. Great School!

This school is definitely not where I would want to send my child. The teachers cannot take proper control of the students, racial discrimination takes place, mostly toward the caucasian students (not from staff), the education is not all that, and not so minor problems get overlooked by the principal with no consequence to the student. The principal is friends with the trouble makers rather than actually doing something about them. Students of spirit, knowledge, and community? Psh.

This is the first year my son has attended Saint Stanislaus. It is everything other people told me it was. The teachers work hard to keep kids learning. The principal is all over the place with the students, outside in the mornings, in the cafeteria, in the classrooms, and she always returns phone calls or has time to talk when anyone stops her wherever she is. When there is a student problem, everyone works together to fix things. I feel welcome here and so does my son.
