The learning process is sub par. Teachers are always out. Lunch is at 1:00 pm. Children are failing test left and right.

Horrific. There is clearly a complete lack of leadership at this school. I don't blame the teachers--I lay the blame for this mess directly at the feet of the principal and the district. The kids have clearly had very low expectations set for them and they live down to them. These kids are being robbed of an education and it's a crying shame.

This school is horrible!!! A lot of the staff are disrespectful. I work at a school outside of my residence district unfortunately so I know what should go on. My child had an awful experience at Mound. Mrs. Turner is an awful principal and only cares about her salary. Instead of taking time with my child and attending to his needs he was sent home almost every day and I had to hold him back a grade with fear that he did not learn what he should have. And the school looks like it needs to be tore down!! My child now goes to Fullerton and is an honor roll student and is very smart! They are on top of everything and attend to his every need!!! Im so glad that we are sending him to Fullerton now!!
