My child has been at Coleman elementary school for 4 years. There are teachers at Coleman who mean well but if a child falls behind there is nobody to help them. We work hard at home and I have tried to communicate issues to teachers via email it takes 3days for a response! My child has gone on field trips with no notice or permission slip sent home to sign!!! I had no idea they had gone untill my child told me after school. The school is a mess. Nothing matters here except for state testing and scores.

My three children have attended Coleman, Irving and Gerard. Coleman eclipses the other two by a long shot. This school scores higher in testing and the camaraderie between students and teachers is like none other. I'll do whatever it takes to keep my kids at Coleman!

We have moved out of Cleburne ISD because services provided were so below other DFW school districts. My child spent a year in Coleman (1st grade) with an inadequate sub and as a result, we need to hold him back another year. We got a cold shoulder from the old principle and the applogies from the new one but no knowledge my child needs to continue his schooling. No parent involvement at all unless they are asking you to donate the money! I would recommend to keep your children out of Cleburne ISD unless you want to ruin your child's life. Disgrace!
