NRCCS is an incredible experience that I, as a parent, am envious of and proud of all simultaneously! I would have loved to attend a school where adventure, education, and community are so abundant and focused! Our family is proud that we have the opportunity to send our children here. While special education doesn't meet the specific needs of specific students, the learning quality is in-depth, and the focus is lifelong learning. There is a healthy balance of meeting testing standards but also the idea of learning how to learn for fun and life! With any small school, whether deeper learning needs for special education or sports, there are only so many resources. That can be a con to some families; however, the pros far outweigh it when it comes to a school that is producing good humans Beyond the Four Walls. I would strongly suggest a tour and explore this option. In the state we came from, a school like this would have been called "private," and the fact this is a public charter continues to amaze us!

My daughter came to this school for the 8TH grade year. We certainly wish we had enrolled her years earlier. This is the most amazing group of educators I have ever had the privilege to know. Thank you North Routt Community Charter School for welcoming us and giving our daughter the best academic experience of her life.
