Do not send your child here if they’re not white- expect the teachers to treat them worse. Walking the halls and being in the classroom, you’ll see non-white students in elementary school with their desks all alone for supposed discipline help(which further singles them out and causes their peers to view them as problems). The supposed principal is terrible with enforcing discipline and bows down to parents even if they are wrong. She is unprofessional and allows bullying to take place. The school is by far the worst you’ll see in the county. It’s so disruptive that those who want to learn can’t because the disruptive kids aren’t punished- again because the principal is afraid of parents. Teachers are constantly talking in the lounge about how they hate their jobs, the kids are out of control and their boss doesn’t back them up. One teacher said she now has to take meds just to get through the day. Some teachers are trying but many give up and are just trying to get through each day which means the administration isn’t doing a good job backing them up, giving them the means to help students who want to learn and not bending to demands from parents just because their child isn’t allowed to do as they please at school. If you can remove or move from this district, do it for your child.

My granddaughter is on the autism spectrum. She is improving in math and reading. She isn't doing very well with writing her letters or spelling. Why don't they have spelling test. She had them at her previous school.
