Horrible things happened to my child with disabilities, my child could not focus or vet enough assistance at this school with two teachers in every class.

My daughter has been attending this since 7th grade and has done very well. The small class rooms have made a huge difference in her academic achievement. Since the staff knows everyone and it feels like a small family and the teachers really take time and get the know the children and their specific learning styles.

My chjild attends the Cincinnati location and loves it! The school and classes are small enough so teachers & students can get to know and appreciate each other as individuals. Teachers are specially-trained to keep ADD/ADHD & Asperger's students engaged & interacting in the classroom--she says she never gets bored!! Emphasis is on students' strengths & individual learning styles, while providing customized instruction to help them improve in their weaker subjects. The principal's & faculty-members' attitude reflects a dedication to finding what works best for each student & utiliing those methods to individualize their education for them. They believe ALL students deserve and would learn best with that approach. Unfortunately, only those whose MFE's qualify them for the extra state funding available, can qualify....but Summit's geared toward that so is much more inclined to make the determination to provide an IEP to each of their students, than most public school districts. Wonderful music and art programs are offered along with therapeutic martial arts, and the school is open to other extracurriculars and after-school clubs whenever there's enough student interest and parents available to help.
