My son has been at St Vivian since preschool- 7 years total so far. He loves it there. He likes the small class sizes as well as the diversity. He has never experienced any bullying and with his small class I haven’t heard anything like that since he has been there. He is borderline adhd- is not on an iep and the teachers have made accommodations each year for him without me even asking. Overall we have had nothing but great experiences with St Vivian.

If you notice there aren’t any recent good reviews. My siblings and I are former alums, and this place is nothing like it used to be. My children are being removed after one year, as this school lacks the values, integrity and community that the Archdiocese is trying to rebuild. There are only a few good teachers left- holding on. The school is plagued by a Principal and Priest (Pastor) that have their own agenda and are unresponsive (-moving on to another assignment.) The Archdiocese Deputy Superintendent of this school is useless. My son was not only bullied by students physically and emotionally, but also by his teacher who continuously embarrassed him in front of students because he is gifted and works at a slower pace. They did not utilize the district funded onsite school Psychologist or address the situation. The bully remains at the school, without a completed investigation or consequences. They had a similar major bullying incident in May 2018 on the news. This school only exists because of the amount of students on low income and Edchoice Scholarship. Enrollment is down drastically. It is diverse with the change in the neighborhood demographics, but their investment into the culture and understanding of the children is absent. Why are there always little African American boys sad and crying in the office? Hmmmm….

My son graduated from there and that school really prepares you for life. It doesn't just let you float through grade school and let high school just smack you. My son got into st. X and Roger Bacon which are both amazing schools. St . Vivian prepared him to get into those schools and also excell in them. He is on the honor roll at Roger Bacon and all of the kids he went to St. vivians with are also excelling in high school. St. Vivian teaches you to work hard and always keep learning. It also shows you how to have fun with numerous activities for the kids during the year and a plethora of sports teams I love this school and my family loves this school if your questioning on going to St. Vivians don't just do it because it is the best decision for you and your child to grow.
