Fantastic school. They work really hard and are great with the children.

This is truly an amazing school. I know many people try to transfer to Westfall because the staff love their students and go above and beyond for each of them. From the cafeteria staff to the main office, EVERY person's purpose is to do what is best for all Westfall students. My family is truly blessed to be apart of this outstanding community.

My daughter loves Westfall and has never had an issue with any teacher she has had there. She does struggle with reading and math and has a teacher (Ms. Dewey) she goes to for approximately 30 minutes to an hour everyday who helps her with these subjects. Ms. Dewey is the best and my daughter could not love her more. Not to take away from her regular teachers who have also been amazing. My daughter has improved so much and is almost completely caught up with her peers. Not only has her reading and math improved but also her self esteem and confidence. I wouldn't have my child in any other school.

Difficulty enrolling students, few opportunities for parent involvement unless you know the teachers and administrators. Poor decision making, denial of any mistakes made, inability to accept constructive criticism and immediate rejection of idea's. In addition, certain parents have been aloud to choose which class their children go in, other parents do not. The school is known for favoritism and is very strict. They overload the students with fundraisers by advertising to them with toys, trips, and special events. If they do not raise money for the school, they do not get the toys etc.. like the other kids do. They train the children to walk with their hands held behind their back, which can eventually cause problems. They only celebrate some holidays with activities and some holidays are left out, especially cultural ones. For some reason they did not test certain students that were gifted. I am unsure of why this occurred.

Great principal with great principles!! It starts at the top! Mrs. Stanley is an awesome human being called to be who she is changing lives one child at a time!! She leads by example and the teachers who follow are the best in the state!!

This is a strict school compared to most. There are some good teachers but also bad ones. They have a detention policy for children. If the parent forgets to sign the child's take home agenda 3 times, they can get detention. If the child forgets to bring a book to read after school and doesn't have it out reading it 3 times and gets caught, they can get detention. This school has so many rules that it's hard to keep up with all of them. I'm thinking about taking my kids to a different school.

There are some good teachers here but there are also some bad teachers here. One in particular felt it was necessary to discipline my child because I would forget to sign one of the several folders that needed to be signed daily. She also felt it was okay to leave my child alone in the classroom while the rest went to the library because he couldn't find his book. The principle was more concerned with backing the teacher than finding a solution to the problem. She also has the tendency to insinuate that the parent must be a bad parent.
