Telstar is a great school for children. The staff are caring and work hard to help students master the skills to be successful. Telstar needs more parental and community involvement. If you would like to tutor and help Telstar in other ways please contact the school at 405-587-8900. Great Students, Great Staff.....help us make Telstar an Excellent School!

Telstar is facing many of the same issue other public school districts are facing. Majority of the parents are not supporting the teachers efforts to the children the be successful (Not all parent, but most). The teachers need are simply tired, discouraged, and feeling defeating . This school needs parent support, as well as teacher support, and most of all PRAYER!!!

This is the worst school to put your children in. The teachers are rude my children come home crying beacuse of how rudes the teachers are. The discipline certian children and others they do not. My kids have come home with hand prints on them and bruises from kids hitting and punching them. Really are children are suppose to be safe in the schools, not scared to go to school. When the kids tell the teachers whts going on the teachers tell them to walk away and ignore and do nothing the the child that started the issue. DO NOT PUT YOUR CHILDREN IN THIS SCHOOL!!

The principle cares about the children. She has an open school policy, parents are always welcome. My daughters love this school. The staff is working hard to bring test scores up. They reward the children for their had work. The only problem I see is that parents are not as involved as they should be. They are not showing up for awards programs, field trips, Mothers Day Tea, etc... If the parents were as involved as the staff is this school would have a much higher rating!
