My experience and eye witness account as a parent is that the school is loosing great teachers to retirement and to personal friendships that exist with admin, who is a former teacher.

Walnut staff and administration truely care about the students. I don't understand why people talk so bad about our school. If parents would take the time to really get involved they would see that's it's a great school not just test scores!!!

Walnut has the hardest working staff who really care about the students. This school is getting more awesome each year! There is a positive atmosphere on campus and lots of resources.

Our school is now under the leadership of Principal Karen Morales. She is a kind and dedicated leader leading Walnut in an amazing direction. She has recently repainted the school, encouraged Young Rembrandts (an after school arts program), supported the teachers' use of electives to enrich learning through standards-based art, technology, and core subjects. The school has a bucket-filling atmosphere and the teachers here work harder than anyone in the district to reach the various types of students at this school! Is this school perfect? No, but the community feeling and effort from teachers is amazing!

'm not saying all teachers or staff are bad but a handful need to be removed.! When my child was being bullied the teacher did nothing the office did nothing but if my child defends himself/herself he/she gets a note sent home. I know they will know who I am after reading this! frankly I don't give a darn! I am pulling my 3 kids out of this school. MY CHILDREN WILL NOT BE Their experiment project, sorry I know my rights and we do not need to take this from anyone. Hopefully, the good teachers get the credit they deserve.

My neice whent to this school and now my Grand-daughter goes to this school the school has gotten better over the years the most of the teacher. seam to care for the students. but there are a few that don't. the vice principal really cares a lot about the students at his school he does his best to get involved with the student and try to get the parents involved when there's a child with behavioral problem. he gives the parents information on were they can get help and assistance. he a great that vice principal. I would like to see him as a prinical one day he is really great with the student at the school. he tries to know all the students by name. and the students really like him to. other then a few bad teacher most of the teacher truly do care about their students.

My son has been going there since 1st grade and I now have another son in Kindergarten there and a 5th grader now. I personally have never had a problem! I've loved every caring and supportive teacher so far! Principals change frequently but it doesn't seem to affect the kids. The above comments are so silly, kids should yell laugh and be loud there children and there with their friends, let them learn and grow up later! Love my Walnut students, staff and school!!

Where should i start. I originally didn't care for this school since the begining. When i went to enroll my children it was total chaos. Kids running in the office yelling the staff talking about how bad the kids were. My child was bullied there on several occasions & nothing was done!!!! They are all so rude at times not all the time & always busy to answer questions. If you call & ask a question they tell you to call the District. I am so over this school I am trying to either move my kids from here or pay for a private school. there are some teachers & staff that are very friendly & you can honestly tell they care.
