My son transferred here to Graham from southwest suburb school. My kindergartner has really blossomed since he became one of Mrs. Karnezis 's sunflowers. He loves going to school. Mrs. Karnezis fosters independence and encourages her sunflower students to engage in discussions and lessons. She is outgoing, and has a great personality that the children respond too. I was appalled at how my son's first kindergarten teacher interacted with the kiddos. My son was walking in eggshells around her. Kindergarten should be an amazing experience, and at Graham, my son has that. I went to Graham when I was in Elementary, and my family, Conners, have been in the Canaryville Neighborhood for generations. I love the sense of community and how Graham fosters choice and voice for their students. Thank you!

Wonderful school with dedicate principal, teacher and staff. A wonderful after school music program. Only thing lacking is a Gifted program/forgeign languageprogram and corporate partner. Parental involvement could be better, but is improving. I attended Graham until 1966, was quite some time ago. My youngest son graduated in 2005. I have a grandson attending now. I have been a member of the LSC for about ten years

My daughter started Kindergarten last year with Mrs. Meyer and I have to say, it was one of the best experiences; she was a tough, no nonsense teacher who LOVED all the kids and truly tried to teach from the heart. At the end of the school year, this class was the most well behaved (even better than the upper grades!) and well mannered group of kids with intelligence shining out of every pore in their little bodies. They were full of knowledge and excitement every day..., from reading groups to play time to jiji. I was expecting my daughter to leave Kindergarten at a D reading level; however, under Mrs. Meyer's tutelage my daughter excelled to level N, which I'm told is a 2nd to 3rd grade reading level. I am BEYOND pleased with Graham so far, and I am hoping this new year will be even better!
