I switched my son into this school last year as his prior school closed due to the pandemic. While I didn't know much of the school, I had heard decent things from colleagues and friends in the area. I thought online classes was handled pretty well all things considered. I do wish he had more social interaction but that's not necessarily the fault of the school so much as COVID. The teachers were pretty communicative as far as keeping me informed of his online schedule and helping me when I needed. Also the business office was top notch. We had a few issues due to finical situations changing and they were able to help us out without missing a beat.

Our child attended this school since 3rd grade and we were very pleased. The teachers were always very accessible to parents and my husband and I both thought the price was fair for what was offered. We wanted a school with a strong focus on the student and character development and were not dissapointed.

We spent one year in the preschool program at FXW, following two years at an exceptional preschool. Early childhood challenges dealt with in stride, without drama, by enlightened and supportive teachers were elevated to major issues at FXW and the we do things one way approach seemed only to exacerbate any problems. As educated professionals, we found teachers and administration consistently (and oddly) imperious, and communications with them to be generally inauthentic. We struggled throughout the year to appreciate the reputation that the school continues to enjoy (garnered years ago when it was undoubtedly deserved), but honestly never did on any level. A disturbing exercise of discretion/judgment by the teachers made our decision not to re-enroll our children at the school an inexorable one. Strongly encourage you to talk with a number of different families about recent experiences (as we wish we had) before determining that this is the best school for your child.
