I have been previously connected with the school as teacher of an art enrichment class for selected students. Any parents I have interacted with (my own friend as well) or heard speak about the experience of their child has been only positive.

It’s unclear why this school has a one-star review with no corresponding comment – perhaps an insensitive joke? Regardless of the reason, Cornerstone deserves a five-star rating. I’m a clinical counselor with experience working with children and adolescents, and I've had the pleasure of touring the school and meeting some of the staff and students. The school is a small, private high school that targets teens who are struggling in a regular school setting. The school is warm, safe, and set in a prominent downtown location with access to public transportation. The classrooms are vibrant and personalized, filled with educational materials and the art work of past and current students. Teachers are kind and funny, and they develop close relationships with the students, which helps with accountability and retention. I got the impression that the teachers and students were part of a tight-knit family. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a personalized approach to their teen’s education.
