My student started Cuffe in 1st grade and graded last year to attend Whitney Young. The staff and especially the Principal is hands on.

The principal does absolutely nothing to fix any situation she's just as childish as the kids. Kids have been getting hit like bowling balls in front of the school and their just now "trying" to implement a safety zone. They need to close the school and clean house. It's no point of sending my child to a school with no structure

I have a 20+ career in education and I've experienced that Cuffe has something wonderful going on. The principal displays new exciting energy in the hall and it is contagious. So much that the teachers and students have made wonderful gains academically. There's after school programs, like dance, band, volleyball and football. One last thing to mention, the students are great! Yes even in Englewood.

my child started cuffe 3 years ago and her teacher was the best teacher there at the time. when she started 1st grade everything went down hill and so did the school. when she started 2nd grade it got just a little bit better. overall the school really needs help in communicating with the parents about their children more meeting needs to be held. the principal now acts like she doesnt know at thing. the teachers really needs to go back to school some not all!!!! more teachers stepping up to watch the students after school cause its not a safe neighborhood.
