Some of the teachers at this school shows no patience with kids. They have been known to show frustration for the smallest things a kid does.The way they handle conflict resolution is not acceptable to all.

Under funded. Poorly equipped and staffed to deal with such wide diversity, especially special needs. Children are not challenged according to their differences and needs. Bullying need to be addressed at this school and children should not be ignored when they are upset. I noted only very few quality teachers who are committed and very caring but not enough. Patience, understanding and mindfulness are sorely lacking despite their degrees and knowledge, I can not stress this enough. My stepdaughters are in their late 20's and early 30's, my son is in his early 20's. I have been around the young adults enough to understand their emotional maturity to deal with difficult situations. My daughter, who is only 8 years old, has a teacher who is in her mid to late 20's and does not have enough teaching experience under her belt. It is very difficulty for an 8 years old to understand that. When you check out school, it is good to observe how many have degrees in education and early childhood care, but please for your children's sakes, never overlook ages (more patience) and years of experiences (better knowledge and more flexibility).

We love Dupont Elementary School. The school is an old building, but inside is clean and warm. The staff are awesome and so every helpful in making sure each student is learning what they need to know to advance in life. Thank you Dupont for being such an awesome school. I can't imagine my children attending a better elementary school.

The whole staff there are wonderful with the children.My granddaughter has learned so much from some of the finest teacher's around.They in courage learning and teach the students to be out standing citizens.The school needs new books and some repairs to the building too.This is my way to give back to a school and their staff,that have given such great service to our children.
