Would not have wanted to start at any other school

Our kids have had great teachers and have enjoyed their years at Battle. One has loved art while the other has appreciated being in e3, the program for gifted students. As parents we've had many chances to be involved in their school life - from chaperoning field studies to helping at the annual fall festival. Having our kids near our workplaces instead of at their zoned school 20 miles away has made it easy for us to attend parent events and even to drop in for lunch on occasion. We're always impressed with how many parents participate and with how well behaved the students are. The school just feels like a special place with student art displayed everywhere and happy faces on the kids AND the teachers.

We chose Battle for our child because we wanted him in a stimulating and diverse environment. Battle offers its students a variety of learning experiences so that every child can learn. Students attend art, music, PE, Spanish and library weekly. The multiple intelligences theme means that different learning styles are respected, and the School Wide Positive Behavior plan encourages kids to make good choices. We think our son is prepared not just to move on to middle school academically but to continue to grow and learn. His experience and ours has been overwhelmingly positive.
