We have attended this school for three years, first under Principal Rae and now under Principal Little. Since Principal Rae's departure, school programming and opportunities for families to authentically engage with the school have dropped significantly. No more talent shows, winter performance, or engaging curriculum nights. The PTO exists, at least in name, but it's unclear what they do. I've tried to volunteer several times but have never heard anything back. Principal Little has a great speech about communication and family engagement, but she has made no improvements and taken the school backwards. Principal Little's communication - the messages she actually rights and aren't canned communications from CMS - are confusing, reactive, rarely proactive or personalized. The front desk staff lacks any sort of "customer service" - treating families with hostility and poor communication. The teachers are committed to education but many seem on the verge of burnout - and it's not just poor pay, it's most likely because of lack of good school leadership, putting more and more onus on the teachers.

I actually attended this school when I was younger and am proud that my three kids are attending Windsor Park Elementary School. Principal Rae is an amazing woman, and is genuinely invested in providing each child everything they need to excel in not only their education but in life. Her uplifting attitude and daily mantra encourage my kids to do their very best. My eldest is in fifth grade and struggled with keeping pace in math during the pandemic. Her teacher worked with me to turn her grade around and she finished with an a-b honor roll! Thank you Windsor Park for what you are doing above and beyond for our children.

Mrs. Rae the new principle is exceptional, she has embodied wisdom and molded great future leaders at her school, her staff are awesome, the custodian team do amazing work, their custodian team floors and bathroom are clean kudos to the Admin team & front office sec. and the teacher who work tirelessly to make sure these kids, my kid supersede anything thrown their way. i am a proud parent who acknowledges the staff team work and how dedicated they all are to get grade scores and EOG numbers sky high and have these kids ready for new beginnings.well done Windsor park elementary y'all deserve the recognition.

My son loves school and enjoys going everyday. The staff is so helpful and pleasant.
