We had a series of terrible experiences with negligent faculty at the school. The final situation included our child running nearly a 103 fever, completely lethargic and needing to contact us to go home, and MULTIPLE staff members denying him his right to contact us, HIS PARENTS, to go home. Instead they dismissed him and his brother's requests and made him finish the remaining 5+ hours of school, just for us to find out about it when picking them up from school. When confronting Vice Principal Anderson about it, just a serious of LIES & EXCUSES, No Ownership was taken. We Immediately removed our children from his school as our children did not feel safe!

Very good school. Nice staff ,a lot of activity’s that kids can sign up for, teachers make sure everyone knows the material before moving on and amazing facilities.

The student transferred to Drayton Hall for grade 5. Like most she was a little apprehensive about changing schools. After just a few weeks into the school year, she LOVES IT! Thank you to the faculty, staff, and administration for making her transition seamless.

10 out of 10. Drayton Hall excels in many ways. These teachers go above and beyond for their students. Our little girl is in 3rd grade and she has been going to Drayton Hall since Pre K. Several of her teachers go to her birthday parties! They care about their students and communicate well with the parents.

Drayton Hall is a great neighborhood school. The staff and administrators are supportive and wonderful to work with. Thank you for taking care of our kids! We are so happy to send our kids to this school.

In general, DHES has been a great school for our family. The teachers and administration support their students and provide a great learining enviroment. My children have excelled here and I am extremely thankful for that!

The teachers are excellent and well educated. The administrative staff is just as knowledgeable, supportive, and caring. I am grateful for this school and I would choose this school over any other elementary school in the Charleston County School District.
