As a teacher in both private and public schools, I can proudly state that SCS is a stellar school which promotes academic rigor and Catholic values. Outstanding atmosphere with involved families and dedicated teachers. It is a gem of a school!

Very disappointed in this school and the some of the teaching staff. Very poor communication with parents, a one size fits all curriculum and the teachers have no training or understanding of how to meet the needs of children with learning differences not do they seem to care. I am Not speaking for all the staff but some.

This school falls far beneath my expectations for a private, catholic school. If you have a question regarding your child and his/her behavior or progress as a student, they brush it off as trivial or make a joke. They also constantly ask for more money and force you into contractual monetary agreements to the point where it feels like extortion. Their books are 15+ years old and they have no urgency in updating them. Per my experience, the teachers are lacking in so many ways and have inappropriate conversations among each other and with the children. Don't waste your money or your time here, they seem to only care about the $$ and not the kids or education.

St Catherine of Siena is a warm, nurturing school where every child is so important. My children not only learned academics, they learned manners and respect. They were encouraged to think for themselves and not to be afraid to think out of the box. My children received a wonderful faith based education at SCS.

Saint Catherine of Siena School has been home to my children and family for the last 14 years. Over the years my children have been surrounded by caring teachers, staff and other parents, who have had a positive influence on their lives and who teach lessons about life, belief and moral values...not just academic subjects. The strong academic program encourages critical thinking skills and has enabled my older children, who have graduated, to go on to receive academic scholarships in both private High School and College. Along with high achievement, the school has ingrained in my children the importance of community service...caring beyond themselves. The small school environment and dedicated Principal help form a confident student whose potential to succeed is nurtured and challenged. At SCS the arts are also strongly encouraged and supported. Having been a parent from the Preschool years, to Kindergarten, to grade 8, I can't imagine a better school environment for my children .

St. Catherine of Siena School is a strong, active, welcoming Catholic school. The school is strongly supported by the parish. The teachers are very devoted to the well being your children. The families work diligently on fun events such as our Wine & Food Event and our annual Tricky Tray. My children look forward to go going to school everyday. I know that they are receiving a great Catholic education. I would recommend SCS to everyone I meet!

What can I say about St. Catherine of Siena - the school academic program is excellent. As a Catholic, and a Parishioner of the Church, religion is important in children's lives and helps enrich them. I have two children attending St. Catherine of Siena school; to wit, a first grader and pre-k. I have some improvements in my children's social skills, academic skills and the way they carry themselves. My son has always been an outgoing person and loves to talk, even when he is not suppose to. St. Catherine has taught my son raise his hand and wait his turn to speak. He is a spiritual child and full of life. My daughter was the shy one, but St. Catherine has opened her voice and has improved her social skills. She is looking forward to attending Kindergarten next Fall. St. Catherine has proved to enrich my children socially, spiritually and educationally. St. Catherine is an excellent school and I am so glad that we have chosen to enroll both our children there.

A small and nurturing school with a strong academic program . Parents are strongly encouraged to be involved and the teachers are well equipped to teach. Ms. Kerwin is the most involved Principal I have ever met and is always looking for ways to enhance the school.

I have had 4 of 5 children graduate St. Catherine Of Siena School. I have one still at the school currently. All of my children received the tools they needs at SCS to succeed in high school. The faculty, staff, and administration all go that special"extra mile" for each Student. SCS is a place where students are nurtured and nourished. All that is needed to succeed in wherever life takes you starts at this wonderful school.

I went to a different Catholic School, but my mom teaches at St. Catherine. The way she speaks about the academics there especially Science (in the 6th, 7th, & 8th grade), I wish I went there. I would have been more prepared for high school science then I was. St. Catherine has a great community based feeling, this is especially true when I have gone to the carnival and I see so many of the school kids being involved.

St Catherine's stresses academics while creating a nurturing, familial atmosphere. The teachers and staff are like aunts & uncles. The students of the upper hall-middle school are like older cousins & siblings. The parents are active in school life and supportive of keeping the school a vibrant community. Students get an education that is strong on the fundamentals while also enriched with lessons in character, morality, and compassion. This is Catholic education at its best: welcoming of all faiths, not proselytizing, but absolutely living the tenets of our faith. Many non-Catholics and non-Christians attend, and their parents absolutely love this school.

I have been a teacher at St. Catherine School since 2009. St. Catherine provides the student with a strong Catholic values to carry with them through the rest of their lives. It also provides an excellent education allowing them to have a strong background in Science, Math, and English as the enter high school. The teacher work well together providing a loving environment for the students.

This is a very special school where much more than the ABC's are taught. This school teaches love, respect, and understanding. The principal and teachers go out of their way to bring out the best in each child. There is no other place that I would send my children, and I am proud to say that I am a former graduate, as well.
