- Submitted by parent on September 24, 2014A Vice Principal was told that bullying was going on by a student. The VP should have called the parent within 1 day. No one called the parent. The child came home with bruises a month later being bullied every day since then. The French Immersion program is horrible the teachers don't watch what is going on in the class. They pass the students because they aren't learning. The best students in the class can't understand the French classes and aren't learning what they need to learn for the leap and ileap tests. Children understand that no one will help them if they have a problem with another student and that they must fight to take care of themselves or get beat up everyday. Brass knuckles, drugs, cigarettes, fights are a constant at this school. This is the best school in Saint Martin Parish. This is unfortunate that the teachers, principals, school board and superintendent refuse to or are too busy and make excuses why they can't get to your child in time. It is sad when a police officer has to be called every week to a school. Bullying to the staff means knives and brass knuckles, not constant hitting and teasing for years and nothing is done.
