My son was struggling academically and socially at Castro Valley High School. In the middle of his sophomore year, at the suggestion of his counselor, he transferred to Redwood. His grades and his attitude immediately improved, and he had perfect attendance from that point on. I would highly recommend Redwood to any Castro Valley high school student who struggles with either the academic pace or large population size at CVHS. Thank you Redwood High School! (My son went on to Chabot College, then graduated with his Master's Degree in Mathematics at CSU East Bay).

My son is coming from a continuation school, my question is does he need to registrar at a regular high school or should I just take him straight to Redwood Continuation High School? He will be residing with his father who lives on Slopeview Ave. in Castro Valley, he will be entering the 11th grade, however, is still short on credits.
