Sad, frustrating, and very disappointing to say the least. There are some very good teachers and nice people surrounded by small groups of controlling local parents and inept leadership that equates to a horrendous year over year enrollment. While families continue to leave, these groups of parents work to get teachers fired while others exclude families that have children with any special needs and actively work against them for their own benefit. All at the sacrifice of the school, other children, and their own kids.

Excellent. All schools have challenges but the administration is fantastic - very caring and model Christian behavior! Teachers seem overall very happy, which translates to overall happy children! They focus on the big stuff. They are not overly punative and dictatorial. They are certainly NOT holier than thou! They offer many extra curriculars without nit-picking a million reasons NOT to have them. They want the children to succeed. A great model of how a Catholic school, overall, should be!

So happy with this school. Great education, caring atmosphere, discipline and accountability for each person's actions are emphasized at this school. My children live it here and I have been very happy with each of their teachers!!

Sending my children to SSPP is the best decision I have made. They have wonderful caring teachers, challenging academic standards and great parent involvement.

My daughter graduated last year. The principle and teachers make this school a caring loving family. On eight grade night the students do not want to leave each other or the teachers. It is like home. She is so well prepared for high school and doing an excellent job due to the environment of learning and love she received.

Saints Peter and Paul School provides a fantastic learning environment for my two boys. Their teachers are very sensitive to their individual needs and truly want them to excel academically, socially and in their Christian values. My son has ADHD and friends have told me to switch schools because he needs an IEP. Not only have the teachers at SSPP been willing and able to develop an IEP for him, I feel they go above and beyond. They make sure he's performing at the highest academic level and also give him the praise he needs to keep his self confidence at the highest level as well. My husband and I couldn't be happier with this school!

SSPP is a great school that really drives home a sense of community and family. There is a large workload as the grades progress, but the academic performance of the students can not be questioned. The state test results each year show what a high level of performance the school is able to output. There is also a very high level of perfomance in high school from the students that attended SSPP.

Sending our children to SSPP has been one of the best parenting decisions we've made. The kids are taught at an accelerated rate which motivates my children to read more and challenge themselves with personal goals. My kids have always read above grade level. The teachers teach compassion and excitement , the principal leads with Godly love and integrity, and the fellow parents are incredibly supportive. Love it here!

SSPP provides an outstanding academic environment. Our daughter has attended school at SSPP from kindergarten through eighth grade and we are blessed and impressed more every year. The structure and integrity that Sr. Katrina offers as principal is unparalleled. The fair ability to pay program also ensures that families of all means who desire a Catholic education can get one. Sports and the Arts are supported to ensure a well-rounded education. The best part is that our children truly love this special place. We highly recommend this school.

SSPP is a great school that uses fair ability model that allows parents to establish how much they can afford. This allows all kids to go there. Your financial standing does not matter. The teachers are fantastic and the environment is warm and caring. Education is fantastic. Just ask local area high school teachers what they think about SSPP kids.

I feel very fortunate to have both of my children attend Saint Peter & Paul. The school offers a great education and spiritual growth. The school also promotes integrity, respect to others, kindness, the importance of helping others and giving back to the community. As a parent, these are all qualities we want our children to have as they grow into young adults. The Fair Ability to Pay tuition program at SSPP makes the education at this school available to all families with all incomes. The teachers are awesome and the education your children will receive is truly priceless!

Best decision we made for our children!! They are happy, excelling in school academics/ state test scores, and growing up to be fine children of character.

Please do not enroll your children at St. Peter & Paul. This school is a throw-back to the Catholic Schools of years past, not a loving nurturing environment. Read the school handbook carefully. When they say your child will be removed from class if they are wearing the wrong shoes they mean it. Student enrollment at SSPP decreased by 30 students over the summer of 2013. Sister has stated 30 students moved away. Some moved but not 30. Due to decreased enrollment, Sister has a Hardship Pledge Drive in which she needs to make up a $25,000 deficit. Do you really want your kids attending a school that has a deficit 1 month into the school year and the principal is threatening to cut programs and staff? There are better private schools in Cary, Wauconda, Algonquin and Crystal Lake. They have smaller class sizes than SSPP (average 30 students per class ) and offer better academic programs.
