As a student that has been going to this school for 3 years now and has been a student of Smith County for all of my life mostly SCHS is a good school . Its not a 10/10 there are a few problems that could be resolved for sure, but the teachers are great and I have learned alot ,and I am still learning more and more everyday. Even with the new school method as of now they still teach us in the best way they know how and they always find a way. I have owl pride all the way SCP forever and always!!!

If I could give a negative star I would. My first child graduated top 4 in her class. But hated school. The kids and teachers were awful as a whole. Unless u were name branded to the county. My second child got physically and vebally bullied and NO one did a thing about. In fact it was kept hidden and hush hush. The new super intendant of schools played a big part in that. Go figure. My second child was also top on her class and an excellent athlete but was beaten down and kept there. She tried harder than I've ever seen anyone. If it wasn't for her guidance counselors, Miss Goodman especially, I fear how bad it could have actually gotten. She eventually dropped out. I hated that cause she was almost done. But it was best thing she ever did. She has achieved greater heights since she left that awful place. She has earned a full ride to a good college and has been rewarded for efforts finally. I seriously caution any parent sending their child to schs. Especially if they are a girl and not from the county originally. Could write a book and just might. This school is an epic example of a degression in education and society.
