This school is so bad especially the principal Mr. Pietroski. today our bus was late and then the wrestling teams bus showed up and the lady at the front desk of the school said that was our bus so we went on there then the principal yelled at us for getting on the wrong bus. then finally our bus came so we got on it but then the principal yelled at us again and called us dumb for getting on the bus unsafely even though we got on the bus safely.

OK so lets start. (everything is from MY experience and point of view. No teachers/admin names will be mentioned.):School Environment:1. Lots of people were very mean to me, teachers did nothing about it.2. There is a police man at this school, and apparently it's for "safety," but in reality he is dealing with behavioral issues in school or trying to investigate drama with the students. This person even made a Snapchat account and pretended to be a student to be friends with different people on this social media platform.3. School gives MacBooks for technology, but on all school technology there is a application, "LanSchool" and this pretty much gives teachers and admin the ability to control you. I will go more in depth down below.4. Really good services for kids with disabilities, but they didn't really have a lot to offer for kids that are very fidgety or anxious, or for kids with ADHD, etc.5. Now this one, this is the dumbest and most unnecessary thing this middle school has ever done. In the lunchroom, there are ASSIGNED SEATS and if you don't sit in that seat, you get detention. Pretty stupid, right? Don't ask me why they did this, but they did it, and everyone hated it, and they had no reason to do it that the students were aware of. It started in the school year of 2019-2020, but I'm not sure if they are still going to do it in years to come.Teachers:1. Hit or miss, most are nice though. Some have very strong political and religious opinions.2. A lot used LanSchool and I personally got very annoyed. It's almost like they were looking for someone to write up. Ex: I had free time in my 7th period class, so I played games. Just like any other middle school student would. 3. A lot of teachers give out unnecessary referrals/detentions.Homework:1. The homework is like any other school, practice the subject in class, and bring a worksheet or digital assignment home to do. Sometimes it's a lot but it wasn't horrible.Administration:1. What people in the school has told me about administration:a. People have said that the administration is unfair, "bogus," and that they do not hear both sides of the story before assigning a consequence to a person.2: My experiences with the administration:a. The administration when I was in this school was mostly unreasonable. Locker/backpack checks were frequent(looking for vapes or other drugs,) and almost NO ONE gets out of this school without a referral of some sort. Most referrals are about tech usage

My experience at this school is awful so far. I am "failing" my classes just because my teachers don't like me. I have been bullied on multiple occasions, and have reported them all on the "school helpline". They did NOTHING. I was physically and verbally abused, and I was accused of lying about it and they believed it.

There is a police officer at the school everyday. They say it is for protection. Get it right, he is there due to lots of problems in the school. He is constantly investigating big issues. The principal is clueless and needs to go back to Elementary school. The superintendent is covering up a race problem. The minority students are not successful and are leaving. There are little to no minority teachers, and even less in leadership positions. Look up the success of minorities at this school and you will see what I mean.

JAY STREAM IS BY FAR THE WORST SCHOOL EVER!!!!MY SON WAS REPEATEDLY CALLED NAMES AND BEEN PUT DOWN BY HIS OWN TEACHERS!!!!

I believe that the kids should appreciate the school and the district for what it has done. It tries it's best to keep the kids safe and provide them accurate information. To make education easier they spent thousands of dollars on Mac-books for the students that safely protected with firewalls. The students can act rude and be bully like at every school, but when it is reported they will talk to the bully. Most of the teachers are kind and teach the right thing although there was a scene reported with a Substitute earlier this year. The school provides many fun activities for every grade. Like dances and bashes. The principle is nice and caring of you as well. Overall I think this school is 4 stars.

My kid go there and they are honor students just great !!! Love the school and are very challenged.
