At saint Michael’s I think my kids are getting bullied and nothings being done about it. The teaching is okay and my kids say their teachers are nice. My kids also say some teachers and staff members are picking female over male. But overall it’s and good school 3 stars

We are fairly new to the school but I cannot say enough good things about it. We have a first grader who has been attending there since her first year of preschool. We have another in his first year of preschool now and I couldn’t be happier with our choice. The teachers we have had so far have been above and beyond and wonderful and the best at communicating. My children both feel comfortable and happy there, which in turn makes parents feel the same. It’s a smaller school, so its a nice family community feel. I also love the faith based learning. Parents have opportunities to help and volunteer.

There are many pros and cons to St. Mike's. Our family selected this school as we felt it was the best educational opportunity for our family. Because we were not Parish members and our children did not play sports, we struggled with being received by other families and students. We found bullying to be a substantial problem by both the adults and the children. A few teachers are also guilty of bullying children. Many good families left as a result of bullying and sadly, some children were physically hurt. Administration is remarkably lax in properly and effectively addressing bullying. Money talks or is perceived as such. If administration believes your family is of status or they have something to gain from you you certainly get their attention. Most of the teachers are passionate about their jobs. A few are perfectly ok with doing what is needed to get by. One teacher in particular has had a large number of complaints lodged against her but administration elected to do nothing to address the problem. Room for improvement with leadership. Educationally the students have opportunity to succeed. Math on all levels needs improvement. In the upper grades students are exposed to banking and stocks and have opportunity for advanced learning. Homework for most grades was acceptable. Some of the teachers really made effort to be available academically. Overall language arts is good. Middle school writing teacher could take a step back from herself. Overall curriculum is good but as a private school why settle for good when you have the opportunity to be great. Families have opportunity to be involved. If selecting this school do your homework and ask questions. Make your money work for you. Our children were academically prepared for High School but we were instrumental in their learning. Class size is small and this can work for or against you. Extracurriculars are limited but offered. As parents, be involved- it makes a difference.

My sister's kids all attended St Michael's catholic school, and now their kids are attending there now. The education, atmosphere, teachers and students make it a special fit for all catholic families.

An amazing atmosphere for the newest students - Preschool and PreK classes - to those preparing for high school. A welcoming environment with caring teachers. Up to date technology.

The school has a wonderful nurturing and friendly environment. The class sizes are smaller then the public schools which we love. There is a real focus on helping wach other and serving our community. There are many excellent public school choices around us, but I can see the strength of the academics and quality of the time spent at St. Michaels is beyond compare!

Choosing St. Michael School for my kids was one of the best decisions my husband and I made! Not only do they get a well-rounded curriculum, they also get a strong faith-based education with a community atmosphere. They love St. Michael School and so do we!

We have a fourth grader at St. Michaels. We are pleased with the family like atmosphere, small class size, unique club activities (Lego, Chess), and most importantly the strong faith-based education. St. Michaels is surrounded by many good school options, but we feel confident in our selection. There is great leadership and communication at our school.

My children are thriving at this school! I have a kindergarten student and a preschool student. Both of my children enjoy the small class sizes, and my husband and I are pleased with the challenging curriculum. We are most impressed with the family culture in the school community. The Pre-k through 8 model is the perfect choice for our kids!
