What an amazing school with awesome educators! They love our children and support families in the time of need. Great administrative support!!! Go Team JES!!!

I wanted to rate the district. As a military family we have had our children at many schools. This is one of the worst districts and schools my children have attended. First off you can’t even go in the school. It’s a buzzer like a jail to talk to someone. Then you can go into the entry, again to speak to someone it’s a buzzer. Half the time they will not let you into the office. If you want to pick up your children it’s like bail bonds and getting them out of jail. Transportation changes are the most difficult and you can’t select optional days to ride the bus home. It’s the worst.

This school some of the laziest teachers In the state! SC should be ashamed! They don't teach, they treat kids like common criminals and I honestly think some of them chose to teach just have somewhere to go everyday! What happened to caring teacher, leadership, and role models. My daughter is in 5th grade and hates to go to school everyday! She's stressed over this dumb math system put in place and the teachers do t know how to teach it! Home schooling I think is the best option for me. As long as my kids attend this school i will not support it any longer! A good teacher should never have, want, or threaten to fail any student!

This school is an absolute disappointment! They seem to care more about teaching kids how to "Cupid Shuffle" and "Gangnam Style" more than anything! The children do not go outside for recess. We get called every evening about some silly scheme to get money out of us. EVERY test that gets sent home, I have to check because the teacher has graded it incorrectly. If I did not go behind her my child would have D's and F's instead of being the only one in his class with all A's! Our first grader can tell you all about Beyonc ; however, he has not even been taught the months of the year! We are doing everything we can to get our children out of this ridiculous place! They want $5 every Friday for a snocone and neither of our children have been able to even taste theirs because they make them throw them away as soon as they get them! They let our children proceed to walk across #1 Highway without even making sure we were there to meet them! Our 2nd grader gets sent home with the sake homework at least twice a week. They consistently let him write his letters backwards and incorrectly, they do not make him spell words correctly. Most of the work he brings home is completely illedgible!

I teach at a wonderful school in South Carolina. Many of the students live in poverty but that doesn't mean that they don't have dreams an aspirations to achieve greatness. They come to school excited about learning and many want to grow up to play for the NBA or the NFL. That is their dream so the teachers at Jackson remind them that they have to go to college first. At Jackson we are teaching the students students the seven habits they need to become successful. The seven habits help them see how they can take control of their own lives and do what they need to be successful not just at school but in every day life. The students do service learning projects for the community to give back to the people that do so much for them. Students are conscientious about the environment. They recycle, and conserve energy in an effort to have a more environmentally friendly school. The best thing about our school is that the teachers and staff care deeply for the students at our school. We work hard even through the summer to be certain we are ready to do the very best we can for the students that come to us. Every day is a challenge but every day we are all working together to achieve.
