- Submitted by other on August 24, 2022Odyssey is a Project-Based learning (PBL) school, it is an incredible school that teaches real life skills like collaboration, communication, craftsmanship, public speaking and much more. The goal of a PBL school is to create real world projects that incorporate that same learning standards as any other middle school. For example you might do a project exploring and re-creating past civilizations, and during the course of that project you with do different assignments that meet the criteria for English, Science, and Math standards. In the end you with have worked on a single project for 4-8 weeks (depending on the scale of the project) and you will publicly present your final product, that could be physical, digital, or a presentation. There are so many options.
