    Loving and supportive community environment. Scores seem unfair because ABVS has collected most of the kids who wouldn't or couldn't succeed with in person classes. It's a wonderful environment that gives students that last chance for some and others independent learning experience with all the structure and guidance you would normally receive in class. Many students have health concerns they wouldn't be able to attend any school otherwise. A desire to succeed and independent nature is important to thrive here but support is offered at every step if you need any. The small student body has allowed me to watch some students change from failing in their previous schools to well adjusted young and successful students. I honestly believe that if more families took advantage of what ABVS has to offer the scores would sore. Relatively new school set up to allow students to truly thrive.
